Because your makeup sponge has little cell pockets where water stays stagnant and makeup, skin cells and bacteria will be accumulated as we use our sponges, it is important to keep your blender clean and sanitized. When your’ not careful a makeup sponge can harbor a lot of nasty things that can play havoc with your skin.

How it works

Spongeclean cleanses, removes and dissolves makeup & impurities from your blender. It gives your makeup sponge a deep clean and is delicate enough to care for the soft material of the sponge to make sure it will retain its colour. Soft and gentle conditioning elements in the cleanser are there to condition, to keep the bounce and make sure your blender will not shrink after it has been cleaned. The conditioning ingredients in Spongeclean keep your sponge soft and fluffy and full of bounce. A bit of tender love and care will make sure your blender will stay just as new and last longer.

How to use

It is super easy to use and comes in a cute bottle with pink cap. Just dampen your sponge, apply Spongeclean, spread it around and massage your blender and rinse. You will see the makeup dissolve before your eyes and your blender will look as new. Repeat this process until you are happy with the result. Nobody likes cleaning but when a cleanser comes in such cute packaging it will be a joy to use, time and time again.

Aftercare

Hygienic storage of your blender made easy!

Just as important as cleansing your makeup sponge after every use, is to then make sure your makeup sponge dries quickly to avoid that bacteria can start to grow again. It is important that the sponge does not touch any surface and that no vacuum situation is being created. We advise against storing a damp sponge on its container. The container it is stored on will create the ideal place for bacteria to develop and grow. The damp sponge on top of the container creates a vacuum on the bottom where it will develop condense and the ideal conditions for bacteria to thrive. Key is to dry the sponge as quick as you can. Let the air do the work and quickly pop your blender in a Spongedry in order for it to air dry it as quickly as possible without the sponge touching any surface.
